I fell in love with the brushy and unpredictable Gum Bichromate process as I was exploring portraiture in the wild with my friends. These portraits were first produced for my digital photography course. They were a natural choice to begin a first pass at this process that in the beginning favors bold shapes and sharp edges. And yet, some of the lost detail and misalignment adds its own flavor to the finished piece.
