The greatest thing about hatchback cars is how they easily convert into a tailgating area. After collecting my Mermaid Bar goodies, I opted not to sit at the outdoor dining field raised from the parking lot with unknown bodies whirling around me, masks frequently optional among them. Instead I marched right back to my Kona and set up a picnic in the privacy of my work building’s alleyway. Midway through stuffing myself with jackfruit tacos and nachos, decided to try one last shot before the light totally diminished.
There’s a velvety softness in between the letters that soothes me. The sky showed up in an ombre cloak quite evenly. The important details took center stage. While some other elements could certainly have made a stronger impact, I’m content with what was achieved in a broad, comprehensive view of the photograph.
